This is by far the most complicated project I've worked on, but definitely was worth it for the practice. This collar is based off the pattern for figure 106 in the Priscilla tatting book (1915), and took about two weeks to make with the time I have after work and all day on the weekends. I estimate the collar has about 10,383 stiches, and all of it could be done with single shuttle and continuous thread. I had to mave some of my own modifications to the pattern because it didn't quite turn out the same as the original reference pictures, and there are some modern techniques that give it a cleaner look.
