In the Rostov region, a missile fell near the village of Ovoshnoy, 7 km west of Bataysk. Reports say the missile was headed for a military base but was shot down by air defenses and crashed in the fields. Later, it was clarified that the explosion was caused by a Russian air defense missile that detonated during launch.
