Three-year-old: Why do you watch me wash my hands?
Me: Because sometimes you donβt wash them enough, and then the towel smells like Doritos.
Three-year-old: But I like when the towel smells like Doritos.
A psychologist once told me that there's actually a term for people who perceive the world and behave the way Elon Musk does.
They're called "assholes."
I thought the way you copied and pasted that joke you saw on someone elseβs account was so funny.
My own personal version of βall lives matterβ:
When someone asks βWhat, do you WANT cops to get hurt?β to reply, βI donβt want anyone whoβs not a Nazi to get hurt.β
Please refer to βman in the middle attackβ with the more inclusive term, βperson in the middle attack.β Women and nonbinary people are also capable of doing crimes.

Having a certain post format you often use or theme or formula you riff on isnβt uncreative or lazyβit can be a source of great creativity and moreover it is branding, in the best possible sense.
Example: I had a busy day yesterday, so this morning Iβm catching up on my timeline by my usual method of rapidly scrolling and lightly skimming. But one thing that always makes me slow down and take notice is anything shaped like one of @Aphelion@mastodon.sdf.orgβs poems.
@adhdeanasl@beige.partyβs βWeekend Beigeβ shot/chaser posts on Fridays are another great example.
What are other examples youβve noticed? Do you have one of your own?

Capitalism isn't freedom. It isn't trade. It isn't competition. It isn't the rule of law. It isn't markets. It isn't the absence of a centrally-planned economy. It sure as fuck isn't democracy.
Capitalism is capital being in charge. It is the organization of society around the interests of capital, which are further consolidation and the generation of profits.
Anything positive you associate with capitalism is an accident of history.
