KatieVMThe plans for the three dimensional peasant block are a little vague, but we have our first staircase and a few rooms set up so far, and a vague meeting area nearby.
I need a lot more doors. Some for security, some just for dwarven privacy.
This is gonna take a while.
KatieVMStarted my own DF game just for my lonesome (though not super private NOBODY CAN SEE or whatever), The Windy Dimension, and despite some close calls somehow we survived the first year with two fey moods and no losses.
That well is a pretty lousy piece of work on my part. Ended up locking a hatch over the stairwell I used to get it made, no smoothing except at the very ends, a cheap bauxite grate at the river's edge end of it. But it's a 3x3 well, folks are using it, and it's been a boon, so even though it was an emergency well that's proving inconvenient as heck, honestly... I'll take it.

I don't know what people would want to know. I'm a housespouse in my late 30s, early 40s, I have a wife and kid, I'm learning to cook, started transition a few years ago, and I have several mental illnesses, and I like to talk about things that I think people shouldn't be ashamed of such as body hair and neurodivergence, and I'm a big fan of El Goonish Shive, and I've been playing tabletop RPGs since I was five years old because my mom's cool.
