A comment on Facebook by someone who's user name has been blurred out that says: Please develop a viable EU citizen-only alternative to Facebook so individuals, hobbies and communities can freely share and enjoy a social media space that is not full of hate and division that is being spread by interests in the USA and East that want to divide Europe and break up the EU. The response by the official European Commission account states the following: Hello Anthony, what if the place you are looking for already exists? A social network created in Europe, free from algorithms? Well, there is the Fediverse, and the best thing: we are posting there too!
