#gardening report: good news, bad news. I harvested a beautiful basket of tomatoes, and also carrots, collards, kale, green beans, onions, calendula, sunflowers, ageratum, zinnias, and a few potatoes. HOWEVER, the enemy that's been eating tomatoes, carrot tops, zucchini tops, arugula, and peppers has shown itself to be a groundhog. And, it will have the run of the place for awhile, but before the end of the month, the george haveAheart relocation service will once again go into action. #gyo #GrowFoodFromSeeds #share #criters #groundhog

Echinacea and metalic green sweat bee. The cone flower has pink petals with a dark greenish/yellowish center and green spot in the very center. At 9 o'clock on the outside of the cone is a truly metalic green sweat bee, head pointing down.

I learned something important on my recent trip:

you can walk thru a very busy airport blowing bubbles in a large cup with a straw and making singing noises, and no one will blink an eye,

but Do Not do this on the airplane or every kid with 15 rows in front and behind will rise above the seatbacks trying to echolocate the person having fun.
