Me: What's your question? 11 yo: Are you what they call emo? Me: No. I'm not emo. I'm what's called 80s new wave and goth. If those 2 things hadn't existed there would be no emo. He looked at me for a cool minute before finally saying "Well I like it." Before he ran off I assured him it's ok to ask questions if you don't know something.
