So many things are feeling really hopeless right now even though I know they aren't.

My company has started rolling out coding assistants. CEO is mandating everyone uses "AI" wherever possible.

This is cementing my growing belief that today's tech industry only exists to perpetuate itself and generate "value" exclusively for shareholders, even if that means manufacturing demand where none would exist otherwise.
