One of two Grey Goshawks that were hanging around home this morning. They didn't stay long because they were being mobbed by Spangled Drongos and Pied Currawongs.

A male Australasian Darter sunning himself on the walk bridge across the northern part of the lake at work yesterday morning.
He was not at all worried about the passing foot traffic.

On my way to the office this morning, I noticed this Australasian Darter, having a bit of trouble with its breakfast.

The trouble was short-lived though, and soon swallowed.

A long necked bird pokes its head above the bank of the lake it is swimming in, with a fish skewered in its beak. It looks vaguely alarmed (although it probably isn't).

Our Swamp Wallaby spent about an hour in the backyard this morning grazing until it started to rain and she took off in to the bush for cover.
