#PhotoOfTheDay Since my photo yesterday with the polished hammer faces was popular, here's another example of contrasting polished/unpolished finishes... These are two photos of butter knives that I made a few years ago.

A butter knife version of a common "blacksmithing knife." A blacksmithed butter knife with a snake- or dragon-like tail. The blade section is polished but the handle section has been left with a dark "blacksmith finish."
