I am the emotional support animal for our black cat. Whenever he tries to sit on me, he'll first place a tentative paw on my lap, stop, and look directly in my eyes. This little mental exchange happens, every single time:

[cat] : Do you consent to the TERMS and CONDITIONS of [cat]?
[me]  : Always.
[cat] : Proceeding with deployment of [cat].

Black cats are very difficult to take pictures of, but the one advantage is their eyes pop like crazy. Example. This is Blake's CRAZY EYES. I'm still experiencing a little residual fear looking at this TBH 😬
