My latest revisions of my #ShermanikFilterbank preset has seen me refit my mixer and aged #ShermanFilterbank in to my workspace for A/B comparison adjustments of resonance response, amplification and overall feel.
I have a confession. I built my preset after my audio interface failed and wanted to explore these sounds, but until today have not had a local comparison to work with.

I was not thrilled to find that filter 1 on my hardware unit is faulty, but filter 2 works fine and sounds reasonably similar to my preset.
My plan is to spend some time aligning the response of the various knobs in the preset to be closer aligned to the hardware unit. And fortunately I can do most of that with only one working filter.

I upgraded my primary PC to #Windows11 and a raft of issues went away. #BitwigStudio has a clearer UI, my display overall is sharper and I feel slightly chagrined to have resisted doing this for so long.
Tonight Iām making a double batch of #EggplantParmegiana and I am salivating as I await it emerging from the oven.
Fans of #BonkWave and users of #Bitwig please take note.
This #Buchla259 emulation is making me inordinately pleased with the performative promise of this preset. Metallic, FM, modulated tones and atonality are all a nudge of the dial or flick of a state away.
Offered as v1.7, this #BitwigStudio preset (made in v5.0) is available on my website. Please note the newer Bitwig version which was needed for newer Grid features.

Updated 04/08/2025: Do you like #DelayNetworks and echoes in your #BonkWave or #NotBonkWave ? Check out my #SealEggs for #BitwigStudio preset! Now at version 1.53 (built in v4.0) and is ready to use. The updated version makes some small internal adjustments and improves the input drive response and crackle noise levels.
