Room 20: this is a screenshot that show a section of the room 20. It's on two levels, in the upper level there are a couple of big glass containers with a green fluid in them, on the floor there is a woman fainted. In the lower level there are tubes behind a glass window, some drawers and an horizontal glass container with green fluid in it. On the far eight there is a man fainted on the floor. On both levels there are two doors.

Lately I keep hearing people talk about "midlife crises," as if they're inevitable checkpoints.
Iโ€™m 30 now, and I honestly canโ€™t tell whether I'm going through some kind of crisis myself - or if this is just me trying to adapt to a new reality that changed too fast.

More and more I feel this heavy nostalgia for the old internet. The open web. IRC. Jabber. DC hubs (anyone still remember StrongDC++ or PtokaX?). Private forums. Local networks. Small communities where things felt alive and intentional.

I could buy a battery (ยฃ53) or just buy another of these units (ยฃ87, and probably less hassle) but what I really want is a UPS which:

1. has a similar capacity (750VA)
2. has a user replaceable battery
3. warns you (when talking to a Linux PC) in good time before deciding the battery needs replacing NOW

Any suggestions folks?

Today = wasted day: I wanted to remove some duplicate code in the terminal and dialogue interpreters.
I changed the code accordingly and I created some procedures to replace the various local gosub within the interpreter procs.
At a certain point errors started to pop up.
I tried again, changing the code step by step but, again, the result was the same.
I went back to last night's version, where everything worked.
I'll happily live with the duplicate code anyway. amiga

I don't want waste more time on it, but I think it could depend on the interpreter procedures that are really big... maybe adding stuff to them make #AMOS unstable.
Fingers crossed: it may explode on my face soon ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
