I bought a cheap small form factor PC with Windows.
I figure I will install Visual Studio Pro on it, and stick it in a closet with Ethernet and UPS and leave it. Setup wake on LAN and whatnot.
That way whenever I need VS I can just spin that up and connect remotely to it. And if that works I can stop worrying about dual booting on my other machines.

My SFFPC or as I'm gonna call it an MWM or "Minimal Windows Machine" is supposed to get delivered today. So that's the weekend plans sorted out, I guess. Also, I forgot to say that part of the reason to go this route is that Windows patches are getting specially odious if you are dual booting. Because for no good reason any Win11 patch from MicroSlop now requires MULTIPLE reboots. And unless you have setup GRUB to default to the Windows partition, and who fuckin does that(!?), then it's a PITA.
Unpopular opinion I guess... But, I am real tired of dudes who are trying to be clever instead of just plain being kind.

Por fin saldé la deuda que incurrí por el casi año que estuve sin trabajar. Entonces, pienso que debiera de donar algo de lo que tengo, que no es que sea mucho, pero algo es algo.
Pero que difícil es encontrar una organización benéfica aquí en Puerto Rico, que no sea religiosa, que no sea fundada por gringos, y que no sea fundada por gente que ya es millonaria.
O sea, quisiera ayudar, pero no a gente que ya tiene millones y millones.
