I've written a bunch of toots, and a bunch of replies, then deleted them before posting. Anxiety manifesting as toots is perhaps not my best moment. And I am trying to self correct.
Please, if it is possible, give you Ma a hug. If you have a pet, give them a hug.
I bought a cheap small form factor PC with Windows.
I figure I will install Visual Studio Pro on it, and stick it in a closet with Ethernet and UPS and leave it. Setup wake on LAN and whatnot.
That way whenever I need VS I can just spin that up and connect remotely to it. And if that works I can stop worrying about dual booting on my other machines.
Crossing fingers.
I am sorry, but I am tired of the "I know better" reply guys.
I love the smell of burning mosquito in the morning (from my electric racket).
Protip Re-toot: Do not use mosquito raquet like you're playing tennis. Use like you're frying eggs or pancakes. That is, try to swoop upwards instead of sideways or downwards. You want to shock that mosquito as much as possible until dead. If you swat downwards you might jolt it away from the racquet before it has a chance ti actually burn that fascis... I mean mosquito.

Quietly? Not on fedi.
(A good thing!)
So, I did not build my new PC. I bought premade, and I added to it. The small increase in cost was a no brainer for me, since I wouldn't have to do the work of putting it all together, making sure everything fits and looks good.
Point is, I'm not a PC building guy.
BUT...
I just saw... I didn't know this existed... I saw a pc case with curved glass that goes from the back to the front [ , and no top or bottom, like for a wall installation...
And it's like... I do not need it...
but...
Idea for a delivery-themed game that incorporates limited information aspcts.
You play as a self-driving vehicle.
You have to drive to a location. Open door, trunk, etc for a parcel/person to be put in. Then drive to another location for dropoff.
Depending on the quality/damage/wear of the different onboard systems is how much info you have to drive to locations.
LIDAR damaged? No 3D view. GPS damaaged? You get map but not position, so on and so forth.
Wait, this must exist already, right?
You can have diffuculty scale by deplying to manufacturer's grounds for testing. Then a small neighborhood. A city. Then mountainous cross country.
Maybe one scenario has you deliver illicit matetials. And you have to escape. Maybe another sees you move a suspiciously looking package that customer says Is manequin parts. But your trunk can see red splotches and the weight sensor register too much for a manequin.

"Dell is finally admitting consumers just don't care about AI PCs"
English is not my first language, so I did not know that "don't care" means the same thing as "hate"
