Last year I learned a little about the term Turtle Island.
And in my mind, everything beautiful, natural, endemic, or just plain free of hate, I think, "Oh that must be what they mean by Turtle Island."
USA, on the other hand, is everything that is...
not that.
I'd like to start using the name Turtle Island, but since I'm not a native I don't know if that would be considered appropriation, because I'm a Caribbean islander and stuff.
I like Turtle Island, but USA makes me afraid.

I have toe socks on.
My toes barely fit. Getting these on took 3x longer than the rest of getting dressed. But besides being a chore to put on they are quite comfy.

In my magnum opus RPG, that I will never finish (or indeed start) making, where evil dragons hoard all gold AND all magic, the true opposite of empathy is bigotry.
And the initial "this is our protagonist's idyllic village" scene. The hero's mother does a A Game of Thrones (the book) first chapter, but on the village's single loud bigot.
"Hate means death", she says. As the game's screen go from soft blue and greens into black and red.

I have tried a bunch of fuckin stuff. But only on the new PC whenever I launch FireFox it restores whatever tabs had previously opened.
Short of deleting my whole profile I have done EVERYTHING suggested on both Mint and FireFox forums.
It's very frustrating. My other Linux Mint installs seem not to exhibit this behavior

Everything clicked right then.
These were missionary girls from South America. And the Miss Such and Such they were looking for was their mission. They were gonna get Miss Such and Such to go to church. Their church. And they figured they could get me too.
"Thanks, but I don't think so. I respect your beliefs, but I don't need any myself."
