My retirement accounts through work pleasantly surprised me today. I don't watch them as closely as my other investments because they basically run themselves. One is profit sharing I can't contribute to but get an increasing percentage of profits each year, the other a Roth IRA. The Roth currently gets 8% of my salary with my work matching 7%.
I may actually get to retire one day and just keep bees. π
My goals aren't very lofty I guess, no yacht.

I've been bald since my late teens. Not once has it bothered me or impacted my life, besides cutting down on time to get ready. I don't recall being made fun of either.
Would hair completely change my life? I guess I'll never know because I'm not a millionaire, but I doubt it would make a difference.

After 20+ years, my wife decided the old printed Excel spreadsheet isn't cutting it for doing the budget. There is a leak in our finances, nothing extreme, but there's slightly less hitting the savings than she's thinks there should be. So she got elaborate budget tracking software, after I spent hours researching their security protocols. Banking and government level encryption so I felt comfortable with it. I honestly can't wait to see what it finds. Hopefully it's not me. π

I'm not sure why they are calling the Cape buffalo "belligerent" when a dude was hunting it with a gun. The man chose to hunt what is considered the most dangerous game. Seems like it was a fair fight to me. I'd protect myself too.

I'd like everyone's opinion on a photo, I took it with my S22 Ultra in astrophotography mode. Then I ran it through some editing software recommended by a fellow Mastodon traveler, ask me if interested.
I'm curious which is better and is it ok to edit photos to bring out full potential? Most say for astrophotography you need to, to remove light wash, but I'd like everyone's thoughts.
First is original, second is same shot cleaned up.
