Auto-cancellazione: una scelta etica

Nel mio profilo Mastodon, ho impostato l’autocancellazione dei post più vecchi di 2 settimane.
Nessun archivio infinito, nessuna cronologia da scorrere all’indietro. Le parole passano, lasciano una traccia effimera, poi scompaiono. È un modo per vivere il presente, limitare la sorveglianza passiva e ridurre l’ingombro digitale.

L’eccezione è il gesto umano.

Alcuni post vengono “salvati manualmente”, segnalando una gestione attiva e selettiva della memoria. La storia personale non è affidata a un algoritmo, ma alla cura individuale: ciò che conta viene custodito a mano, come un diario scritto a matita e messo via.

Effetti collaterali positivi

Riduce l’esposizione a ricontestualizzazioni malevole.

Alleggerisce la presenza online, rendendola più agile e temporanea.

Aumenta l’attenzione al qui e ora, invece che al post virale eterno.

Pensateci ... non si sa mai che fine faranno i vostri post un domani.🙏

Saved this image a long time ago. Recently I’ve been collecting and sorting heritage / heirloom seeds ready to give away, and “gardening is a revolutionary act” often comes to mind.

At the allotment we share and give away spare produce, use second-hand materials to build things, support and give time to each other for free, make spaces for wildlife and care for our environment. Which shouldn’t be radical but feels it in a world increasingly measured by profit and monetary mechanisms.

Updates on Charlie ❤️.
Charlie was rushed into surgery to prevent severe anemia and avoid a transfusion. Using a paracostal approach parallel to the ribs the affected liver lobe was carefully removed without disturbing the digestive organs.
