British campaigners reported Saturday that the sheer volume of people who showed up in #London's Parliament Square to support the nonviolent advocacy group #PalestineAction presented a major challenge for the Metropolitan Police, who had threatened to arrest anyone supporting the organization.The campaign group #DefendOurJuries reported that as of 4:00 pm local time, at least 200 people had been arrested for joining the protest, where more than 1,000 sat silently in the square with many displaying signs that read: "I oppose genocide. I support #Palestine Action."

Campaign group #DefendOurJuries (#DOJ) is organising the protest on Saturday in Parliament Square to demand the reversal of the group’s proscription, saying that the protest would only go ahead if at least 500 people committed to joining.As of Monday evening, the group said that as many as 1,000 people had signed up, confirming on Tuesday that it would go ahead.The protest will involve participants holding cardboard signs reading: “I oppose genocide. I support #Palestine Action.”

Another home for #Cuba BellyOfTheBeast videos - Cuddly.Tube

In addition to YouTube and Instagram, there is now another place to view Belly of the Beast videos - cuddly.tube, hosted on a non-commercial server. I set it up and maintain it, in collaboration with Belly of the Beast staff.

Unlike the other two, it is based on an open-source video streaming platform called Peertube, which is part of the Fediverse.

Once you connect to it you will notice a lack of advertising and other screens coming at you. And there is no tracking. It is not as polished as YouTube but I still think it is more pleasant to use.

#Gaza’s health care system has been systematically targeted by the #Israeli military and is struggling to cope without medical supplies, with #Palestinian doctors and medical workers suffering from hunger and malnutrition themselves. On Monday, officials at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis said at least 38 people died after arriving at the facility over the previous 24-hour period, and many hundreds more are being treated for injuries.
