Went out with a guy and he gave me his phone to pick the playlist in the car. He had a playlist called "sexy time" so naturally I chose that one.

It was 9 hours of non-stop songs about coal miners going on strike.

We are going out again tomorrow.

Today in History August 6, 1970: Yippidy Doo Dah, the Yippies invaded Disneyland. However, the Black Panthers did not show up for breakfast at Aunt Jemima's Pancake House, as promised, nor did any feminists try to liberate Minnie Mouse.

Today in History August 6, 1945: The B-29 Enola Gay dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, immediately killing 70,000 children, women and male civilians. Tens of thousands more died in subsequent decades from radiation-induced illnesses. Nagasaki got the same two days later. However, today’s nuclear weapons are far more powerful and the U.S. has 5,800 of them, enough to obliterate the planet several times over. Russia has 6,375, and China has 320. And let’s not forget Israel’s nukes, as they draw the U.S. closer to putting boots on the ground in Iran. Or India and Pakistan’s, as shooting skirmishes flare up every few years in Kahsmir. Or North Korea’s. Or France’s and UK’s.

Oh, we will all char together when we char
And let there be no moaning of the bar
Just sing out a tedium when you see that I-C-B-M
And the party will be "come as you are”

Left picture : At the time this photo was made, smoke billowed 20,000 feet above Hiroshima while smoke from the burst of the first atomic bomb had spread over 10,000 feet on the target at the base of the rising column. Six planes of the 509th Composite Group participated in this mission: one to carry the bomb (Enola Gay), one to take scientific measurements of the blast (The Great Artiste), the third to take photographs (Necessary Evil), while the others flew approximately an hour ahead to act as weather scouts (08/06/1945). Bad weather would disqualify a target as the scientists insisted on a visual delivery. The primary target was Hiroshima, the secondary was Kokura, and the tertiary was Nagasaki. Just think, there are enough vacant homes in the U.S. that every homeless person could have multiple vacation homes, just like the billionaires do... except for the fact that those vacant homes are owned by those billionaires and deliberately kept vacant.

Blackstone is now the largest corporate landlord on Earth with over 300,000 homes in the U.S. Billionaires and corporations have bought millions of homes and either raised rents or left them as empty investments. There are 16 million vacant houses—28 for every homeless person.
