Just 100 companies, which are all fossil fuel producers, have caused 71% of greenhouse gas emissions since the industrial revolution.
Over half of these emissions can be traced to just 25 corporate and state producing entities and I’m going to list them all for you:

9. Shell

12. Chevron
13. PDVSA

16. Peabody
17. Sonatrach
18. Kuwait Petroleum
19. Total
20. BHP Billiton
21. ConocoPhillips
22. Petrobras
23. Lukoil
24. Rio Tinto
25. Nigerian National Pet.

These 25 companies have produced more than 35% of ALL global CO2 emissions since the industrial revolution.

As an #introduction I thought I would tell you that I have written a book.

It is a history of my father, Giles Holtom’s life. He was a member of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps.

Giles told me and my brothers these wild, and exciting stories, sitting at the dinner table. I believed them because, well, I was 7, and he was my dad.
