Dnd, and also mushrooms
I want to make a chaotic neutral druid with mushrooms growing on them. they will be just a little mad, and their desires will be closer to what I imagine what a mushroom's would be. I don't know how to explain it. What do they gain from this? They have some weird abilities a mushroom would have this also means I get to say the absolutely deranged sentence "man it smells like nothing in here. Which would seem normal enough to this character because they're used to smelling.
@jolitl@enby.life The confidence will make it easier to deal with them later. Even if it doesn't, don't you think this would be a fraction of the suffering they inflicted on you? They're this bad here, I know they did worse. At least if you do this, you're setting things right a bit. You can cut them off completely after that, and if they want anything from you say this.
@jolitl@enby.life "You made it clear you don't want anything to do with me, and I'm just an appliance you can hit when I act up. You can't get any more use out of me, as this time abuse can't fix me. Someone has already repurposed me. You don't own me anymore." Then cut them off completely, and focus on healing.
@jolitl@enby.life Whatever you do, don't let them win. Research law, and see if you get any ideas. Just don't let them have power over you. You can find some way to lawyer the fuck out of this if you just spend the time researching. These people are willing to escalate, so escalate harder. Hell it doesn't even have to be law. Does one of them have a job? Contact them, and see if you can find someone better to get them replaced. If you can escalate this much, you now have confidence.

The more complicated the brain gets, the more likely it is that the creature can be unsatisfied with its vessel. I will not elaborate.
I just discovered a fairly new and very obscure horror game called "sounds of shadows" and it's actually horrifying. The basic idea is that the monster hunts with sound and you can't see without sound. You feel utterly helpless thanks to a simple twist on a very common trope.
Goodnight fedi -w-
You know what? Fuck clocks. Let's place sundials everywhere and build a server to determine the exact time everywhere. This will be massively resource intensive, really difficult to do, and would be extremely high maintenance. Nobody will benefit this and people will actively dismantle the sundials.
Trying to make a display controller for a fucking calculator to make it so I don't have to count in binary. I am using a Minecraft mod for this and I am slowly losing my mind.
Fuck it let's go all the way to the end of this hot mess and do that. I'll make it work that way. Let's see what happens.

I was going to post something, but then I decided it was better to keep that thought inside. Not because it's a really hot take but because it's just too fucking weird and complicated for me to confidentially say anything about it. How do I even start? I'll need to overthink the fuck out of it to come up with a way to clearly communicate anything.
