You want to know how to make an occupier go away? Look to Iraq, look to Afghanistan, look to YEARS where US personnel needed armored cars with anti-bomb carriages to travel SIX BLOCKS for a meeting.

But again, nobody is ready for that smoke. We are so fucking far away from that. And I genuinely think this regime is not stopping until they can't GET anyone to go into your communities because "mortal fear."

So, as a dead woman walking, Imma stop waiting for ppl to understand what this really is

I mean what do you want me to say? You know the problem, and we both know the solutions, but I'm not allowed to tell you them and it wouldn't matter anyway because nobody is ready for that kinda smoke.

Also, can I once again point out to you that "he's got a gun" literally does not fucking mean anything relevant in America? You know, the country that would rather deal with a mass shooting at a school every 6 months rather than institute gun control laws?

You will notice, it's only ever a problem that "he's got a gun" when it's not a Nazi.

So, I guess the clock resets and we spend another two weeks arguing over whether or not THIS murdered man "deserved it?" While the regime moves on to its next atrocity and Gestapo agents come home to their families without a care in the world - right? And in two weeks we can do it all again when they commit another brazen crime in front of everyone and we talk and talk and talk about how it's just not the America we thought it was - right? Let's do this for 3 more years. Good idea.

Brey, Mao led a whole revolution of farmers who didn't have a library card, using statements you could write on a post-it note.

I'm not saying we should all be Maoists - but I assure you, reading the collected works of every dead German/Russian socialist in history, is not required to do this.

It just comes down to whether or not you're trying to win an argument, or build a world where the purpose of a society, is to care for the people in that society. These are not always the same thing.

No, my brain is a pretty reliable catalogue of both breakfast cereal ingredients and missing children in 1980's America because if you put written words in front of my face, I'll read them. Just how my brain works.

The other cool thing about anarchism is that you don't have to rationalize away antisemitic purges and ethnic cleansing operations - we've never done that.

Three basic ideas lead me to anarcho-syndicalism:

A) Everyone counts, nobody gets left behind, everyone brings value to our society (except fascists)

B) everyone in my ruling class has more in common with Hitler, than they do with me, or pretty much anyone else in my neighborhood/life

C) I simply do not believe that people who don't even know my fucking name, have any idea what's best for me or can be relied on to act in my best interests.

That's it. And those 3 anchors lead me here.

It's why I always find it funny when folks are like "anarchists have NO PLAN FOR THE FUTURE."

I mean we do; it's just that plan involves a lot of DEMOCRATIC input from literally the entire labor class (never forget the nazi exception: if you treat nazis, like people, they will take everything from you. It's a virus, not a political tendency.) So you're mad that we're gonna work together on many little plans, not one big one dictated by Der Leader.

I mean the thing about anarchists is that we're not looking for a grand unifying theory that "explains everything." Because that's a fool's errand. We have a solid core of principles, built around the idea that everyone counts, everyone gets a say, we don't leave anyone behind for the wolves, and so forth. Then we apply those principle to every situation as they come up, which is why we usually get the right answer. Bigness is not an end unto itself, for the anarchist.

So... that's why.

(and that's more or less all anarchists; even the ones I wouldn't invite to my pool party because "fucking splitters.")
