The deliberate conscious effort that we humans require to do anything, like make art or write an academic paper, has been belittled and glossed over.

Instead results are glamorously prized as the product of success, and the amount of effort that it took to get there is hidden away in shame.

AI is the obscene extreme to that mentality: not more thinking, effort, work, anything— get the result now. While it was that exact effort that made us human in the first place.

More updates on Jiji's urchin lifestyle. He is a thief, stealing items from my desk, Lego pieces from our builds, and Warhammer figurines while we build them. He's a beautiful majestic menace and we're impotent in stopping his reign of terror.

Wanted to make some new labels for our tea caddies and I'm pretty happy with the results. Even though our cat Jiji tried to sabotage me with his cuteness. First time I see a cat try to unscrew a lightbulb. I'm posting the scan of it if anyone wants to use them for their teas.
